Creating your custom portrait is easy — once you’ve placed your order, just follow these three simple steps:

   After ordering, you’ll be able to upload the photo(s) that best capture your pet’s character. (Clear, well-lit images work best.)
2. Tell Us About Your Pet
   We’ll ask a bit about your pet’s personality, quirks, and what makes them special. This helps us bring their unique character to life in your portrait. We’ll also ask if there are any specific types of flowers you’d like included. 
3. We Handcraft & Deliver Your Portrait
   Our artists create your custom portrait with love and care, then deliver your finished artwork digitally within 2–3 days—ready to print, frame, gift or share. You can also download it from your account page anytime.

What kind of photo should I upload?
Anything clear, well-lit, and showing your pet’s lovely face and features. Natural light works best. Big eyes, cute poses, or that classic “I know it’s nearly treat time” expression — the more personality, the better.

Can you create a portrait from old or low-quality photos?
We’ll always try our best. If the photo is a little grainy or taken years ago, we can often still work festive magic. If you’re unsure, send it over — we’ll let you know if it’s suitable for a Santa Paws portrait.

Can I include more than one pet?
Yes! You can feature more than one pet in your Santa Paws portrait. Just ensure each pet is clearly visible in your photos so we can capture their charm perfectly.

Can I request specific backgrounds or accessories?
Absolutely. Santa Paws portraits already include warm festive tones, soft lights, gentle snowfall and of course a Santa hat, but if you’d like extras — such as a name, a specific background colour, or a little seasonal detail — just let us know after ordering.

Can I add text such as my pet’s name?
Of course! We can add their name in a clean, subtle style that matches the cosy Christmas aesthetic. Just request it in the form when you attach your photo.

How will I receive my portrait?
You’ll receive a high-resolution digital file via email — perfect for printing, sharing, gifting, or using across your festive décor.

Can I print it myself?
Yes! Print it, frame it, pop it on a mug, hoodie or Christmas card. Your file is yours to use however you wish. We also offer plenty of amazing merch options if you’d like us to handle the printing for you.

How long does it take?
